SUMMARY:Climate Strike: New York City
DESCRIPTION:On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike globally, to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis. Artists tend to be the key change makers in every society, so we find it fitting for us to go lend our voice, even for a few hours. We don’t plan to march all day, but certainly for a few hours.\nCome if you can!\nMore Information on the Strike can be found HERE ( https://www.eventbrite.com/e/climate-strike-nyc-a-call-to-action-sept-20-fri-12-pm-registration-70656989959 ) \n We will meet ahead of time at: 184 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010\nWe will leave to head to the march by 11:30am. Cell phone reception may be spotty and because of the size of the crowds it will likely be hard to find the group after we leave the meet up place. But Huriyyah will have her phone on her. Once you RSVP, you will be sent her cell phone number.\n
