Come to our Brooklyn screenwriting / work date because friends don't let friends write alone. Writing doesn't have to be a solitary task. Join other writers and scribes from the Black TV & Film Collective and create more pages on your web series, narrative films or short screenplays. You can also come out if you have something other than a script to work on. For example an essay, application, or other you need to get done, come out.
Bring your laptop, pen, pencil, paper, or whatever writing tool suits you. Make sure your batteries are charged, literally and figuratively!
Sometime getting work done can be a lonely and arduous endeavor. Help ease the difficulty of bringing ideas to life and powering through your todo list by committing to a person, date, and time and most importantly pen to paper. Don't let procrastination get the best of you, let this event help you get back to work. Start a new project or continue with the work in progress but either way, come out and create something. Making a date to write with other screenwriters will help you stay on task with your writing project.
RSVPs are closed for this event.
