Recently we got together with some of our member producers and asked them to share some of what they have learned about producing a webseries. It was an incredibly interesting discussion that covered a range of topics from scripting to casting to crowdfunding and everything in between. Over the next few weeks, listen to some of what we learned.

Moderator by Daralyn Jay, panelists include:

  • Roger Omeus, Producer, Writer and Director of Finding Me the Series
  • Mercedes Brazier-Thurman, Series Creator and Writer of All My Friends Are Married
  • Brittany Coleman, Writer, Producer and Lead Actress of Coming Home
  • Duane Seguira, Producer of Coming Home
  • Huriyyah Muhammad, Producer of All My Friends Are Married

Here from them below in their own words as they describe how to produce a webseries, starting with the script
