This Freelancer Hub workshop is geared towards people with variable income, work for themselves or own their own businesses. As a business owner, freelancer, entrepreneur or artist, you will learn the following:


1. Learn how to set quantifiable goals, be clear about your earnings and manage your expenses. Then turn those projected goals into higher profits!

2. Learn business models that turn ideas into revenue and scale current resources

3. Learn how to project realistic assumptions and which ratios or key numbers to regularly track.

About the Instructor:

Galia Gichon is an independent personal financial expert with more than 20 years in financial services, including nearly 10 years on Wall Street and an MBA in Finance. Her career has spanned corporate bond research analyst, personal finance expert, angel investor, entrepreneur advisor and author.  She is actively involved in Angel Investing networks focusing on women-owned and impact startups. She started her career at Bear Stearns and Nomura Securities as a bond research analyst. After leaving Wall Street, she founded Down-to-Earth Finance, an independent financial education firm, making numerous media appearances including Today Show, CNN, New York Times and is a frequent speaker at Barnard College’s Athena Center for Leadership.  She is also the author of “My Money Matters” featured on TODAY SHOW. Galia has an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BSBA in Finance from University of Florida.
