Hey Writers! Take advantage of this opportunity to share your work, listen to the work of others and receive and offer feedback and encouragement from your fellow writers. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or just starting out, if your script is a rough draft or ready for production, THIS EVENT is a great opportunity for you to get fresh ears on your work!

As we all know, screenwriting can sometimes be a lonely process and as such, we sometimes find ourselves isolated.  But, there’s hope!  The Writers Room provides an opportunity for your words to come to life. Hearing your dialogue in real time will help to hash out those points of contention, highlight intersections that are not quite connecting, and basically, give you an accurate measure of how your writing is connecting.

We usually read about 4- 5 works.  We’ve had some awesome screenwriters in the room in previous sessions and this month should be no different!

How it works:

– Scripts are read on a first come, first read basis, so if you would like your work table read, please arrive on time.

– Submission length maximum of  10 pages.

– After each reading, we engage in a short discussion, in which we share our thoughts on the submitted work and offer concise and actionable input.

Yo Actors!  This is also a great networking opportunity for actors!  So please RSVP, we will cast real-time and will try our best to give everyone a chance to read.  Come and lend your skills, show off your talent, and land that role before the casting call even goes out!
